Ready to give CrossFit a try? Getting started with AK CrossFit is quick and easy! The first step is to sign up for a Foundations class where you’ll get the lowdown on CrossFit – what the program is, how it works and what it takes to be a part of it. And of course, you’ll get to experience it first hand with your first-ever CrossFit workout!

Once you’ve learned the basic movements covered in Foundations, you’ll be ready to transition into the Group WOD (Workout of the Day) classes.

Even if you’ve been doing CrossFit on your own, our Foundations Program is a must to get ready for group classes — a certified CrossFit trainer will help you refine your skills and make your WODs more effective than ever!

Rates

  • Try one Foundations class for free
  • $180/month gets you (the best deal in town!)
    • Unlimited CrossFit
    • Unlimited Kickboxing
    • Unlimited Adult Karate
    • Phase 5 Endurance (see below)
  • $140/month rate is eligible for:
    • Friends who sign up together on the same day
    • Additional family members (first member is at the regular rate)
    • Active military, firefighters, law enforcement and first responders
    • Teachers and students (must provide ID)
  • 90 day notice to stop – no long term agreements

Phase 5 Endurance

CrossFit Endurance is our unique blend of boot camp and CrossFit. This membership allows members to attend classes both at AK CrossFit as well as Operation Boot Camp’s Phase 5 specialty camps – meeting at Piedmont Park, (at the corner of Charles Allen and 10th street at 5:45am). The boot camp workouts are typically 45 minutes long, and focus on muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Exercises and activities use bodyweight resistance, interval training, and other methods to increase your overall endurance and fitness.

Requirements: This program does have a minimum fitness requirement to start – participants must be able to run a mile in 9 minutes or faster to start.
